The classic HPPS reinvented, increasing chamber temperatures by +10 to 15°C, improving chamber temperature consistency, and reducing time-to-hot chamber performance while lowering power consumption by up to 35%. HPPS delivers the superior heated chamber experience without the associated risks, power consumption, and thermal emission of a heater. It is manufactured from our unique, aerospace-derived foamed silicone insulation material — the same material we use to insulate systems that fly all over the world (though we still wish it made our printers fly too!). HPPS for the Bambu Labs H2 Series delivers substantial reductions in thermal emissions, significant power savings, and dramatically improved thermal stability. “Big HPPS” began as an internal project to evaluate the impact HPPS would have on an H2D running engineering-grade materials. The most immediate benefit was the sharp reduction in heat radiating from the printer, along with a chamber temperature that would consistently rise to 60°C when set to 40°C with recirculation enabled — an immediate demonstration of the system’s sheer efficiency.

In side-by-side comparisons printing real-world ASA parts, we consistently measured 30–40% reductions in power consumption and up to 40% faster time-to-chamber-hot performance.

Quite frankly, we wouldn’t run an H2 without HPPS if there’s any possibility you’ll be printing higher-temperature materials.

And yes — the foamed silicone insulation is extremely durable. It has saved us more than once during accidental door and top-glass impacts.
